Natural materials and perfect fit
WODEN KIDS strives as far as possible to make children’s sneakers that are not based on synthetic materials. Instead, quality materials like calf leather, calf suede and fish leather are standard elements in a WODEN KIDS sneaker. The removable insole found in all sneakers consists of natural shock-absorbing cork, which provides a perfect fit and a comfortable internal environment. All outsoles are made of natural rubber mixed with ordinary rubber and a minimum of 10% recycled rubber. This unique combination provides a highly flexible sneaker that is durable and resilient, regardless of everyday activities.
Because all children must have the freedom to be children, the feet must also have the best conditions for carrying the child through all everyday activities. Sneakers should be comfortable to wear and the feet shouldn’t slide around inside the shoes more than absolutely necessary. All WODEN KIDS sneakers are made with a firm heel cap, which keeps the shoe in place on the foot. The closures consist of Velcro straps, which makes it easy for the child to put on and remove their sneakers, as well as laces for kids who have learned to tie their own shoelaces.
